SEC Rejects Grayscale Attempt to Turn Bitcoin Fund into ETF

The Securities and Exchange Commission has rejected Grayscale Investments LLC’s bid to turn its big bitcoin fund into an exchange-traded fund, inflicting yet another setback on the cryptocurrency industry.

Grayscale had asked the SEC to turn its Bitcoin Trust, known as GBTC, into an ETF.
