Scarborough shooting kills man
A man has died after being shot in Scarborough.
Toronto police tweeted around 6 p.m. Friday saying officers had been called in the area of Birchmount Road and Sheppard Avenue East.
According to the police, the shooting occurred in the basement of an apartment building.
No information about a suspect has been released.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information should contact them at 416-808-2222.
