Satellite images of Crimean airbase show explosions destroyed Russian planes

Satellite images of the Russian air base in Crimea hit by explosions appear to show several warplanes destroyed, contradicting Russia’s official account that no planes were lost in the blasts.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video address late Wednesday that Russia had lost nine fighter jets in Crimea. Kyiv officials mocked Russia but did not take responsibility for the explosions.
