Saskatchewan. RCMP investigate homicide in Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation

The Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit is investigating a homicide involving a man who was found dead at a residence in the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation.

RCMP said residents will notice an increased police presence in the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, about 67 kilometers west of Prince Albert, over the next few days as officers continue to investigate the community.

The RCMP has not released any further details at this time.
