Sask. Prime Minister Scott Moe tests positive for COVID-19

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe tested positive for COVID-19 in a rapid antigen test, his staff said.

The prime minister is not symptomatic, according to a note sent to journalists on Thursday morning.

Close contacts have been notified. Moe appeared in person during Wednesday’s COVID-19 Live Update in Regina for over an hour. He removed his mask while speaking and answering questions from reporters. Everyone at the press conference was asked to monitor themselves.

Moe will self-isolate for the required five days and work from home.
