San Jose returns to the straight and narrow by winning ahead of Columbus

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Scott Reedy scored twice in a game for the first time in his career on Tuesday, guiding the San Jose Sharks to a 3-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Rudolfs Balcers scored the other goal for the Sharks, who ended a 10-game losing streak.

It was their worst streak since November 2005, when they also lost 10 consecutive matches.

Kaapo Kahkonen made 22 saves, being beaten twice by Jack Roslovic.

A native of Columbus, Roslovic has scored seven goals in five games.

Elvis Merzlikins stopped 25 shots for the Blue Jackets, which have dropped in their last three games.
