Samuel Piette and James Pantemis will go to the World Cup

The Canadian team that will participate in the World Cup in the coming weeks was revealed on Sunday, and CF Montreal is well represented, with Quebecers Samuel Piette and James Pantemis in particular.
In total, six players from the Montreal XI will play for the maple leaf. Defenders Kamal Miller, Alistair Johnston and Joel Waterman, as well as midfielder Ismaël Koné, will also be there.
Pantemis will be accompanied by Milan Borjan and Dayne St. Clair. Quebecer Maxime Crépeau should have gone to Qatar, but a nasty injury in the final of the MLS Cup last week will force him to watch his compatriots manage without him.
The World Cup is due to start next Sunday. Canada, which is in Group F with Belgium, Morocco and Croatia, will begin its journey on November 23 against Belgium. This is the second appearance at the World Cup for Canada, the last dating back to 1986.
