Rush reunion tour: see the dates announced 5 years after the drummer’s death

New York (AP) – Five years after their drummer and lyricist influence Neil Peart deceased from a glioblastoma, The Canadian Group Rushing announced a reunion tour.

Monday, co-founders of Rush Geddy Lee And Alex Lifeson revealed a tour of 12 dates and Seven City is scheduled for the summer of 2026, started in June at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles – where the group played its latest show in 2015.

The reunion tour will end in Cleveland in September 2026. They will also strike Mexico, Fort Worth, Texas, Chicago, New York and Toronto.

Take Peart’s Place is famous German composer and producer Anika Nilles. She has already turned with Jeff Beck.

“It has been more than 10 years since Alex and I interpreted Rush’s music alongside our group companion and friend Neil.

He added that he and Lifeson “could not be more excited” to present Nilles at their base of fans “who, we know, will give him every chance of living this almost impossible role.”

They also hope to add additional musicians to the fold for performance.

Earlier this year, the group released a greater collection of success entitled “Rush 50”. Rightly, it ended with the last songs that the group played during their last concert a decade ago.

Their tour in 2026 is called “Fifty Something”.

“We are delighted to support the Fifty Something tour, to celebrate a group whose music has resonated and inspired fans for generations, and to honor the extraordinary heritage of Neil as a drummer and lyricist,” shared the widow and the daughter of Peart.

“Neil’s musicality was singular … While the group enters this new chapter, it promises to be really unforgettable. We are delighted to see how their new vision takes place and hearing this legendary music played live once again.”
