“Fashion moves a lot,” said Airsed Nikaj, 26, discussing his style and the outfit he wore at the end of summer Tuesday in August when our paths crossed into the Soho district of Manhattan. Model born in Albania and raised in Italy, he was released with a friend (another model) taking photos to publish on social networks before New York Fashion Week in September.
His clothes were relaxed, but particular: a tailor -made blazer, a jeans cut into a boot, a dress shirt openly on the collar to show a combination of necklaces. It was the type of look that could just as well integrate into the streets of New York or Milan now as in a decade or more-which, he explained, was somehow the point.
“I think it’s actually a style that never ages,” he said. “Each year is different. But there are things that never change. This style is something that everyone likes.”
