Oscar’s Place, a donkey sanctuary in California, now has 210 donkeys and has successfully rehomed 189 more. Ron King, co-founder and CEO of the sanctuary, helped create the new documentary series “Donkey King,” which follows the work he and his volunteers do to save, rehabilitate and rehome animals to protect them. He talks to “CBS Mornings” about his mission and why he says donkeys are misunderstood.
