Report: Former Titans WR Julio Jones joins Buccaneers on one-year deal

After becoming a free agent, former Tennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones is joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a one-year contract, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

While the seven-time professional bowler most recently played with the Titans, he spent nine years with the Atlanta Falcons organization where he was drafted sixth overall from Alabama in the NFL Draft. in 2011.

During his career, Jones had 879 receptions for 13,330 yards and 61 touchdowns, averaging 15.2 yards per reception.

The 33-year-old joins the 2021 Super Bowl champions as first receiver Chris Godwin remains out recovering from a torn ACL and MCL sustained in Week 15.
