The Regina Police Service said two firearms and several pieces of RCMP-issued equipment and clothing were stolen, among other items, on Saturday night.
“The combination of stolen firearms and clothing provided by the RCMP adds particular urgency and concern to this case. RCMP clothing is not the standard service uniform; it is a public order uniform with items bearing the RCMP crest on the shoulder or a yellow stripe on the pants, distinguishing them as RCMP clothing,” a press release read. .

Police say someone entered a detached garage in the 3300 block of Green Moss Lane and stole:
- a Cabela gun locker containing a 12-gauge Remington shotgun and a .308-caliber Remington SPS rifle;
- a utility bag containing RCMP public order equipment and clothing, including an RCMP waterproof poncho, an RCMP jumpsuit, an RCMP crest, two RCMP baseball caps, a RCMP weather pants with yellow stripe, batons, green gas mask and riot helmet.
The Regina Police Department has displayed some of the equipment that was stolen in Saturday night’s break and enter.

Officers said other items, including a portable air conditioner and tools, were also stolen.
