Rampage Jackson’s Son Raja to face accusations of assault for the incident of the

Raja Jackson – The son of the former UFC heavyweight champion, Quinton, “crawling” Jackson – faces criminal charges for having delivered a bloody boost to a professional wrestler in Los Angeles earlier this year, the authorities announced on Monday.

Jackson, 25, will be accused of a criminal battery leader who caused serious bodily injuries and a battery manager of crimes in relation to an incident during a Knokx Pro Wrestling Academy event in Sun Valley on August 23, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Prosecutor.

Prosecutors will also ask for an improvement in determining the sentence because Jackson would have made Stuart Smith undergo bodily injuries. Smith, known as Syko Sta in the ring, lost several teeth and suffered a laceration with his lip during the attack, who saw Jackson Body slam the wrestler and then hit him in the head and cope more than 20 times.

A criminal complaint should be filed on Tuesday, according to the office of the district prosecutor. Calls and emails to Jackson and its representatives were not immediately returned. It was not clear if he had kept a lawyer.

Los Angeles police arrested Jackson, suspected of criminal assault last month, but he was released on bail of $ 50,000. Police did not show up for prosecutors for accused until the end of last week, the authorities announced. Jackson is expected to appear before the court for indictment later this week.

The young Jackson – who is also a mixed martial artist formed – was a guest at the event and was live from his visit to the kick of the platform when he was approached behind the scenes of Smith.

Smith criticized a beer box on Jackson’s head. The video of the incident shows the two men standing face to face in the confrontation, but Smith would later apologize to Jackson, signaling to the live camera and explaining that he thought that Jackson was “a worker”, or someone involved in the matches staged for this day.

Smith did not return calls and messages asking for comments on Monday.

The violence of professional struggle is scripted and the wrestlers are supposed to remain in personality in the presence of fans, a concept known as “Kayfabe”. The wrestlers, when in the character of their Ring characters, refer to the people involved in scripted matches as “workers”.

According to interviews with wrestlers who witnessed the incident, Smith seemed to be of character and playing a character familiar to his fans of struggle. Jackson was seen on video later, shaking Smith’s hand.

The video of the event shows Reno Anoa’i, one of the co -owners of the place, telling Smith that Jackson “would run” on his match later in the night, referring to a classic struggle trope when a competitor interferes in the scripted fight of another wrestler. Anoa’i – which is part of the legendary Samoane wrestling family who also includes Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and the star of Word Word Word Wrestling Roman Reigns – did not respond to several comments.

Andre Joel Hudson, the wrestler who invited Jackson to the event, may be heard later on the video telling Jackson what to do in the ring.

“When you miss his S—, you – give him his receipts,” Hudson told Jackson on the video. “Do you remember what a receipt is?”

On the video, however, Jackson did not seem to have planned to join a kind of wrestling scenario.

“You just can’t hit a can on my face,” said Jackson on his livestream while sitting in the stands while waiting for his signal to run. “This S – will not be scripted.”

When Jackson hit the ring, he picked up Smith on his shoulder and slammed it on the web. Smith seemed to lose consciousness almost instantly, but Jackson then set up the crumpled wrestler and struck him in the head and did more than 20 times, depending on the video.

It took four wrestlers to master Jackson, who separated the scalp from another wrestler with a strike in the process, according to witnesses on the scene.

Smith was hospitalized for about a week after the attack and underwent trauma to his jaw, a laceration with his upper lip and the loss of several teeth, according to a GoFundme created to collect funds for its recovery.
