Rahul Gandhi promises the law for extremely backward classes at Bihar on the lines of the Act on atrocity SC / ST

Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, Wednesday, September 24, contacted the extremely retrograde classes (EBC) digitally powerful of the Bihar, promising, among other things, a law of protection against atrocities, on the model of the SC / ST law, if the Indian block came to power in the state.

The head of the opposition to LOK Sabha addressed the symposium “Ati Pichhda Nyay Sankalp” (commitment to justice to extremely backward classes), shortly after the meeting of the working committee of the congress in the city.

He was joined by the president of the Congress Committee of India (AICC), Mallikarjun Kharge, the partner of the TEJASHWI Yadav of RJD, among others.

Gandhi has unveiled 10 resolved (Sankalp) for the benefit of the EBC, which, according to the caste survey carried out by the government of Nitish Kumar, represents 36% of the total state population.

In addition to the promise of the “Act on the prevention of EBC atrocities”, other resolved include an increase in quotas for EBCs in local and panchayats, from 20% to 30% existing.

There is also a total of 50% quota for SCS, STS, OBCS and EBC “in government contracts that are worth

25 Brove “,” Admissions to private state educational establishments “and” three lands decimals in urban areas and five decimals in rural areas “to landless families of private castes.

“These resolved reflect a vision based on the discussions we have been holding with the EBC for some time,” said Gandhi.

The awareness of Gandhi marks an ambitious offer to make a breach in a support base that the Minister -in -chief Nitish Kumar, who directs the JD (U), has cultivated over the years.

However, Kharge, who spoke in front of Gandhi, castigated Kumar for his return to the NDA last year and said: “The BJP, Nitish showed that he supports` Manuvaad ” (hierarchy based on caste) “.

Turning to Tejashwi Yadav, the president of the Congress said: “Do not give in if tomorrow he is approaching you for realignment. We have seen” Aya Ram Gaya Ram “in Haryana. We do not want” Aya Nitish Gaya Nitish “here”. Other promises listed in the 10 resolved are the demolition of the 50% ceiling on reservations for disadvantaged castes and the declaration system of candidates as “not found appropriate”, which explains the fact of filling reserved seats.

“It is also proposed the establishment of a regulatory authority for reservation of great power and to make a sign of the legislature of the compulsory state for any change in the list of quotas,” said Gandhi.

He ended his brief speech by reiterating that he would come out soon with a “hydrogen bomb” to prove that votes were “stolen” at the request of the BJP.
