Addressing a press conference, Gandhi said that the electoral commission should stop this and provide information sought by Karnataka Cid in a week in an investigation into voters.
He mentioned at the beginning that it was not the “hydrogen bomb” of the revelations he had promised and they will come soon.
He cited the details of the alleged attempts to remove the votes from the Aland district in 2023. “I will make a serious assertion on Gyanesh Kumar. I am not saying that lightly. The CEC protects voting choirs and the people who destroyed Indian democracy”, the head of the opposition in Lok Sabha.
Someone has systematically targeted millions of voters for the abolition of India, he said. “I am the leader of the opposition and I will say nothing that is not supported by 100%proof,” said Gandhi.
Gandhi said someone had tried to remove 6,018 votes in Alland and had been taken by coincidence and allegedly alleged that the names of Congress voters were systematically deleted.
“The stand officer noticed that his uncle’s vote had been abolished and found that her neighbor had abolished his uncle’s vote. She asked her neighbor who said he had no idea. He was noted that another force diverted the process and abolished the vote – and as luck would have been taken,” said Gandhi.
He said 6,018 requests had been filed in the usurpation of the voters and this deposit was made automatically using mobile numbers outside the Karnataka.
In August, Gandhi cited the data from Lok Sabha 2024 polls and said that more than one Lakh voted was “stolen” by manipulation in the Mahadevapura Assembly segment in Karnataka.
The response of the CE
The EC nicknamed the allegations of Gandhi as incorrect and without foundation. “The allegations made by Rahul Gandhi are incorrect and baseless. No abolition of voting can be carried out online by a public member, as badly designed by Gandhi,” he said.
No deletion can take place without giving the possibility of being heard to the affected person, said the CE.
