Police say suspect arrested in Brampton, Ont., high school shooting

BRAMPTON, Ont. — Police say they’ve arrested a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting at a high school northwest of Toronto.

A Peel Regional Police spokeswoman said the suspect was arrested on Saturday morning, but did not provide any further details, including any charges that may be laid.

She says her condition has improved after life-threatening injuries following the shooting outside a school on Friday.

Police said at the time that the shooting happened in a school parking lot around noon and was considered a « targeted incident ».

The Peel District School Board confirmed the shooting took place outside Castlebrooke High School.
