Police recover remains of missing Ottawa woman, no foul play suspected

Ottawa police say they have found the body of a woman who was last seen May 17.

Human remains found in the east on July 30 were identified on Tuesday as belonging to Stephanie Kolbach, 55.

Kolbach had last been in contact with her family on May 16 and she was last seen at the OC Transpo Hurdman station on May 17, according to earlier police releases.

The police do not suspect any foul play.

« Our thoughts are with Stephanie’s family and friends, » police wrote in a news release.
