Police publish a new video to refute the complaint of the lawyer in a fatal accident involving Kyren Lacy

Police from the state of Louisiana has published a new video of the car accident involving LSU football player Kyren Lacy, apparently refuting the allegations of new evidence of his lawyer who exempt his client.

Lacy committed suicide on April 12 while the prosecutors continued a case against him for the incident of December 17, 2024 which followed the life of Herman Hall, 78.

The video published by the authorities showed that Lacy was leading in the opposite traffic path and passing several vehicles, including an 18 wheels, shortly before the sound of the accident could be heard.

“A Dodge Charger Green is seen moving south in the opposing track of the 20 at a high speed, passing three passenger vehicles and an 18 wheels loaded in a designated passage area with a displayed speed limit of 40 MPH,” said a narrator of the video.

“While the Green Dodge Charger returns to the track in southern direction, aggressive braking and the deceleration of the engine are immediately followed by an accident which can be heard on the surveillance images.”

Lacy would have led a green charger the day in question.

The video package published by the police from the state of Louisiana aimed to defend her actions related to the investigation and to bodily images which were included show a witness approaching the soldier about a “green charger” when the police arrived on the scene for the first time.

A witness declared on the video that “a green charger had caused all this”.

“Since the incident occurred, the state police have never pointed out that the green charger had had an impact on the vehicles involved,” said the narrator of the video.

“However, all the evidence collected supports the conclusion that the reckless operation of lacyk of the green charger in the cross -direction in the opposite direction has triggered the chain of events involving the other pilots and finally led to the fatal accident,” said the video narrator.

Police said more than 20 surveillance videos had been used to identify Lacy as a driver.

The release of the video comes only a few days after Lacy’s lawyer, Matt Ory, shared a short clip of the car seeming to be far – “about 72 meters” – of the accident. Ory said the evidence exempt his client.

“However, he was back in his travel route, 92.3 yards – back in his way – behind Mr. Hall. At the time of the impact. It is 72.6 meters behind the vehicles at the time of the impact. The keyword, behind the vehicles. This is not how this story was painted. Never,” said Ory on the Houma HTV television station.

Lacy had not been officially charged in the case before his death.
