Police said two women were walking south from Uplands Drive when a man approached them from behind.

One of the women, 58, was hit in the head and suffered minor injuries.

Three days later, on September 16, there was another assault around 8 p.m. near Uplands Drive and Bennett Street.

Police said a 29-year-old woman was walking on the sidewalk when a man came towards her from a grassy area.

The man hit her and she was slightly injured.

Investigators believe the same man may be responsible for both assaults.

The suspect is described as 20 to 30 years old, about 5ft 7in to 5ft 9in (170 to 175cm) tall, with a lean build, long black hair curly over the shoulders, worn in a ponytail.
