Police are looking for a 12-year-old girl

On Friday, the Ottawa Police Service asked for the public’s help in locating a missing 12-year-old girl.

Keira Fitzsimmons was last seen around 8am on Thursday in the Blackburn Hamlet area, police said in a press release, adding there were concerns for her safety.

She is described as a Caucasian female with a slim build, dark hair, and a nose piercing. She wore a black “hooded” sweater, a green tank top, gray sweatpants and black “Air Force One” running shoes. She also carried a pink and white backpack with bears on it.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts has been asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers toll free at 1-800-222-8477 or online at crimestoppers.ca
