Partial closure of Highway 40 and the Anjou interchange

Highway 40 and the Anjou interchange will be closed on the night of October 27 to 28, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., due to the reconstruction of the overpass on boulevard des Galeries-d’Anjou in the north direction.

: The highway service roads will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. westbound, and until 5:30 a.m. eastbound.

Rue Champ-d’Eau, boulevard des Galeries-d’Anjou and the entrance to the highway located on boulevard Langelier will also be affected by the work.

Detours will be marked with temporary signage. The Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable says that these closures “will possibly lead to episodes of congestion, even at night”.

Other closures will follow in order to complete the reconstruction project, but the dates for these are not yet known. In the event of weather conditions that would harm the reconstruction project, the roads concerned will be closed during the night of Saturday to Sunday.
