The response from some Republican lawmakers was swift, after many dragged their feet in condemning former President Donald Trump’s decision to have dinner with Ye and white nationalist Nick Fuentes over the weekend.

Ye’s bid to buy the platform was fraught with stumbles, including accidentally revealing the contact details of hundreds of so-called « VIP » members.

The platform has sought to woo right-wing commentators and position itself as a free speech site, but has struggled to maintain a large active user base.
