Packers will play without wideout Randall Cobb against Commanders on Sunday

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Packers placed wide receiver Randall Cobb and offensive lineman Jake Hanson on the injured list on Saturday and removed receiver Sammy Watkins.

In anticipation of Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders (2-4), Watkins remains a doubt.

Watkins missed four games with a hamstring problem and the Packers had to place his name on the injured reserve.

By placing the names of Cobb and Hanson on the disabled list, the Packers (3-3) will be deprived of their services for at least four games.

Cobb injured an ankle and Hanson suffered a bicep injury last Sunday in the Packers’ 27-10 loss to the New York Jets.
