Outremont in solution mode to the climate crisis

The Outremont borough will participate in the 7e edition of the Victoriaville Sustainable Development Forum, which will take place on September 15 and 16.
The event, certified eco-responsible and carbon-neutral, will pair the 25 municipalities with experts in order to fuel reflection on climate issues and design projects to respond to them.
“The enthusiasm for the Forum [développement durable] this year demonstrates the interest of Quebec municipalities in taking action to deal with this threat to the quality of life on earth. […] We are making it a friendly competition where a jury prize as well as a participants’ favorite prize will be awarded to the projects that have stood out, » said the deputy mayor of Victoriaville and municipal councilor responsible for the Forum’s organizing committee, Caroline Pilon, by press release.
This is the first edition of the Forum held in person since 2019, the one in 2021 having taken place virtually due to the pandemic context.
