Police responded to a call in the 0-100 block of Lorne Avenue at 5:18 p.m. and found a victim at the scene.

Monday was the fourth shooting incident reported in the city in the past four days.
Police are also investigating two shootings that occurred early Saturday night.
Police said over the weekend that officers were called to the area of Morisset and Caldwell Avenues near Carlington Park around 5:30 p.m. Saturday to reports of gunfire. No injuries were reported as a result of this shooting.
Less than 30 minutes later, officers responded to another shooting near Ledbury and Banff Avenues off Bank Street South that left one person injured, police said. He was taken to hospital for emergency surgery.

Police say a man was arrested at the scene and faces multiple charges including assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, discharging a firearm and possession for the purpose of trafficking . Police say a handgun was seized at the scene.
Police also said over the weekend that they were working to locate two men as part of their investigation into a shooting in the ByWard Market in the early hours of Friday morning.
The police department said the shooting, which happened on York Street, « injured several people. » No update on their conditions has been provided by police.
On Friday, police said they received multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting east of Sussex Drive around 2:20 a.m.
Three men were found with gunshot wounds and were treated and taken to hospital by paramedics. They were in serious but stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries, the Ottawa Paramedic Service said at the time.

Investigators later learned that two other men may have been injured in the shooting, police said.
One of them went to a hospital outside of Ottawa for treatment, police said. Police said the fifth possible victim had also been located.
Police said Sunday that Michael Meehan, 28, is wanted on multiple counts, including aggravated assault, possession of a concealed weapon, four counts of assault with a weapon and four counts of having pointed a gun.
A second person, Tyler Meehan, 25, is wanted for assault in connection with the investigation, police said.
