Ryan Tedder and OneRepublic saw their single ‘I Ain’t Worried’ explode on the charts after it was included in the ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ soundtrack.
As those who have seen the sequel to the 1986 Tom Cruise classic will recall, the song is featured in a scene in which « Maverick » star Miles Teller and several other hard-bodied actors play airplane pilots from fighter are playing a beach soccer game while shirtless.

In fact, a clip of the footage has gone viral on TikTok, specifically when Teller is seen doing a brief impromptu dance that fans have come to dub the « Rooster wiggle » (after his character, Rooster). .
Teller caught up with Tedder backstage at a recent OneRepublic concert, where Tedder thanked the actor for propelling the song to success.
In a TikTok video that Tedder posted (and later deleted), he marveled at how « crazy » it was for the song to « explode » the way it did.
“Well, TikTok had a lot to do with it, but really [it was] Miles Teller abs,” he joked, with a Teller quip, “Rest in peace, Miles Teller abs was a long time ago.
