One person died after road collision east of Grande Prairie: RCMP

RCMP are investigating a fatal traffic collision involving two vehicles east of Grande Prairie.
At approximately 8:20 p.m. Friday, RCMP received a 911 call regarding a collision between two vehicles at the intersection of Highway 43 and Highway 670 near Bezanson, a hamlet about 400 km northwest of Edmonton, the RCMP said in a statement.

RCMP, emergency medical services (EMS), fire departments and a collision analyst responded to the scene, where EMS said an occupant of one of the vehicles was dead, the police added. RCMP, noting that they were not releasing the name of the victim.
RCMP continue to investigate the scene.
