NYPD shoots man in Queens threatening to kill Governor Kathy Hochul

NYPD officers shot a man who threatened to kill the governor and other top officials, saying he was going to « blow up » the world Saturday night, cops and sources said.

Police arrived at 205-17 116th Ave. in Cambria Heights after receiving the threat shortly after 6 p.m., sources said.

Suspect who has been arrested multiple times for domestic incidents says he would ‘change the government’ by assassinating New York Governor Kathy Hochul and NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell and also threatened to ‘blow up’ the world , according to law enforcement sources.

Responding officers shot and injured the suspect after opening fire, according to the NYPD.

No officers were injured, sources said.
