Nintendo has just shared a short mystery animated short film

We are fairly used to strange or iconoclastic decision -making, whether it is to publish portable game devices with two screens or to announce a virtual peripheral boy for Switch 2, but even now, the Japanese games company is capable of surprises. He has just downloaded on his various world YouTube channels a four -minute short film called Near youOn a baby who learns to take his first steps, and there is no explanation for why. Is it a story of Princess Peach origin? Something to do with Rosalina? Is it something to do with Pikmin of all things?

It is a really wonderful cartoon. Evoking pixar in almost all possible ways (with Stammer– Similar faces), the short film shows the mother of a baby who has just left the room, after which the baby’s toys begin to animate. The wooden blocks jump and a rattle rolls on the baby’s foot. While taking advantage of the rattle, the pacifier of the child falls from their mouths, and it too comes to life, moving in a fun way and escaping the baby’s attempts to recover it. In the end, he is stuck in a mobile hanging over the baby’s cradle, giving Tyke the motivation to reach higher and try his first steps.

There is obviously no way to know if this baby is a boy or a girl, not to mention the child’s child form. Given the child’s white with blond hair, it could be Zelda or link, either Samus, or just any baro of play Mario or Toad. Hell, my hair was this blonde as a baby, maybe that East Mario. (It’s not.)

Someone said there was a red pikmin appearing in the video at 1:40. Uh, I took a break there, and that’s it! But there are musical nods at the Pikmin Series here, and it is certainly the types of mischievous creatures that would move toys in a room.

The only credit at any time is “© Nintendo ”at the bottom right at the end of the video, without mention of lighting, the animation house behind The film Super Mario Bros. and his next Mario Galaxy following. It would make sense if it was linked to that, perhaps representing a moment of childhood of Princess Peach? It is quite magical and the pink of the pacifier points in this direction. Again, the blue of the frog involves Rosalina. In fact, it would make sense, since the next film takes place in the Super Mario Galaxy Universe, and it is the game in which it appeared for the first time. Let’s go! Repeat …

Nintendo Today has published a four-minute animated short circuit to its YouTube channels, revealing the beginnings of fans favorable to fans Super Mario Galaxy character Rosalina, to coincide with the next The film Super Mario Bros. following, The film Super Mario Galaxy. Rosalina, the resident of the comet observatory and the mother figure of the star -shaped lumas, will obviously play a central role in the next film, it is therefore logical to see her being highlighted here …
