Nick Cannon welcomes his 12th child!

Model Alyssa Scott revealed via Instagram that she and Nick Cannon welcomed a daughter named Halo Marie Cannon on December 14.

The newborn’s arrival comes just over a year after the tragic loss of their five-month-old son Zen in December 2021. « Our lives have changed forever, » Alyssa wrote in the caption of the video. her pregnancy and the birth of her daughter.

“I am zen every time I breathe. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he’s watching us from up there, he’s showing me signs every day. I will keep this memory forever. I will remember the sound of Nick’s voice saying it’s a girl and his look expressing everything we went through. I will remember the sound of her first cry, her first breath and the feel of her heart beating against mine. My sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you Halo Marie Cannon!” she added.

Alyssa Scott then shared a photo of the little one sleeping in a basket with the caption “HI BABY!! 12/14/22” and heart-shaped emojis.

The newborn is Nick Cannon’s twelfth child and fifth born this year. He is the father of twins Moroccan and Monroe (11) with his ex-wife Mariah Carey; of Golden (5 years), Powerful Queen (2 years) and Rise (3 months) with Brittany Bell; twins Zion and Zillion (18 months) and Beautiful (1 month) with Abby De La Rosa. Nick Cannon also has a 6-month-old son, Legendary Love, with Bre Tiesi and a 3-month-old daughter, Onyx, with LaNisha Cole.
