YouTube is introducing new parental controls on youth accounts that it says could limit the time spent scrolling through accounts. The latest parental controls will focus on YouTube Shorts, which uses a continuously scrolling video feed containing videos three minutes or less. Parents of child and teen account users can now impose time restrictions that will limit how long their children can scroll.
