Necklace says that “lack of responsibility” led him to cancel on the head of the WNBA

  • Engelbert denied having made these comments to the quintuple All-Star of the WNBA, saying on Friday: “Obviously, I did not make these comments.”

What they say: “So that she begins her speech by saying that she has the greatest respect for me and for the players, then to turn around and call me a liar three minutes later … deny the words that I heard directly from her mouth. I think it simply talks about this lack of responsibility and therefore I really have nothing to say,” said Axios collier.

  • “I think she summed up what I was talking about in my declaration.”
  • WNBA representatives did not immediately respond to the request for comments on Monday evening of Axios.

The Olympic gold medalist was in Los Angeles on Monday to moderate a conversation with former vice-president Kamala Harris during the unreasonable conversation conference, where Harris qualified collar “example of courage” of the advertising scene criticizing the management of the WNBA.

What we look: Necklace is waiting for more attention to players’ concerns in the coming weeks.

The other side: The NBA commissioner Adam Silver, who appointed Engelbert to her role, told the media that he was convinced that his relationship with the players could be repaired.

What is the next step: The current WNBA collective negotiation agreement expires October 31.

  • “I think we have a lot of momentum at the moment. We are just pushing as hard as possible to make sure that we get the best possible offer,” explains necklace.
