Last night, a federal judge temporarily prevented the Trump administration from sending troops from the National Guard to Oregon. The decision comes as Portland and Chicago have prepared for the possibility that the members of the National Guard are deployed in their streets while President Trump advances with the mobilization of troops in American cities managed by Democrats. Trump says he sends troops to these cities to help control crime and protect federal law enforcement agents.
Federal agents, including members of the Ministry of Internal Security, Border Patrol, and the police, are trying to maintain demonstrators outside an American immigration downtown and customs application (ICE) on October 5 in Portland, Oregon.

- 🎧 The Governor of Oregon and the mayor of Portland expressed that he was as usual in the cityJoe Hernandez de NPR tells First. There have been demonstrations outside the ice facilities there, but the federal judge supervising the case said that the demonstrations had been small and manageable by local police. The federalized administration at least 300 members of the Illinois National Guard, which should be sent to Chicago. The president also possibly discussed federal forces in other cities, including New Orleans and Baltimore.
The Supreme Court is starting a new term today. The cases examined are largely focused on the extent of the power granted to the President by the Constitution. Other questions on the court file include: a case that could end what remains of the law on historic voting rights and a challenge to Trump prices.

At the end of last week, the court approved 20 requests from the president to block the lower judicial orders which were opposed to the administration. On the other hand, the court ruled against the administration in these emergency cases three times. These decisions are temporary because the court has not heard any arguments in business. Now, some cases are back in court with a full briefing and expected arguments.
Negotiators today start talks in Egypt to finally try to end the war in Gaza. The United States has presented a peace plan, which Israel has accepted. Now the talks are to ensure that Hamas and Israel are on board with the details of the publication of the remaining hostages that are held in Gaza. Here is what you need to know about the cease-fire talks.
- 🎧 Hamas should look for maximum concessions, while Israel will request minimum concessions in terms ofAccording to Daniel Estrin of NPR. The United States and Mediator Countries should fill any discourse linked to the agreement. In Gaza, Mohammed Nassar, 31, who fled an Israeli air strike at night before Hamas announced that he was willing to release the hostages, said the development of negotiations had given a glow of hope that war could finally end. In Israel, hostage families camp outside the house of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to make it feel pressure.

Americans love to travel, but the cost increase leads many people to pump the brakes and reconsider the reservation of a trip. The costs of gas, accommodation and leisure have all increased from the pandemic. According to the US Travel Association and the Bureau of Labor Statistics, travel prices have increased by 20% since August 2019. Here is how people were affected:
- ✈️ Dozens of people have informed the NPR in an online survey that they cannot afford to go nowhere this year, and those who travel remember.
- ✈️ Many people travel more by car and travel on the way to try to save on transport costs.
- ✈️ By deciding on a destination, travelers choose nearby places, traveling at the national level, instead of venturing abroad.
