Motorist dies after several rollovers

A tragic road accident occurred this Sunday evening on the RD 43 between the municipalities of Les Salles and Noirétable. Around 8:50 p.m., a driver lost control of his vehicle, for reasons still undetermined, and rolled over several times.

In this swerve, the 42-year-old man did not survive. It was a driver, who arrived after the events, who gave the alert. The Noirétable firefighters intervened, in vain. They were accompanied by a Samu team. The gendarmes, also on the spot, made the usual findings.

This is the 32nd death to have occurred on the roads of the Loire this year, the previous one having occurred on the RN 7 in Saint-Symphorien-de-Lay, on October 18. That day, it was a young 20-year-old motorcyclist who had been hit from behind and had not survived the shock.
