Mortally carrying Mauls Camper in the Ozarks of Arkansas

The authorities killed a black bear on Sunday, which they mortally believed a 60 -year -old man whose body was found last week near a campsite in Arkansas.

The Sheriff Glenn Wheeler of the Newton County, Ark., Said on Friday that the cause of the death of the man at the campsite, the sam’s throne campsite in the accidental Ozarks, had been officially judged an “mutiling animal” and that the manner of death was an accident.

The officials said they had found proofs of a struggle and trail of drag leading from camp in the woods.

He said that the victim’s body had extensive injuries “in accordance with those expected from a large carnivorous attack”.

On Sunday, a bear was seen on a camera in the campsite area a few meters from the place where the victim, who was Missouri, was attacked.

The Arkansas match and fish commission and the Newton County Sheriff’s Bureau said that the bear seemed to be the same photographed by the victim, and encountered by another man with an overhang just outside the campsite last month, officials said.

The Sheriff Wheeler said in an update on Sunday that there was “there was an extremely high probability, it was the same bear”.

The animal was taken to Little Rock so that the managers can carry out a necropsy and other tests on the bear to see if the DNA samples correspond to the victim, added the sheriff.

He said the bear was a young male man “who was probably weaned and launched his mother this year.”

The sheriff’s office responded to the campsite on Thursday after receiving a call to check a motorhome. The appellant said that their father was on the site and that he had not registered for a few days.

The name of the victim was not released. The man’s family told investigators that he had sent photos on Tuesday morning a bear in his camp. Man has no longer heard.

In the county of Franklin, in Ark., About 90 miles to the west, a man who was attacked last month by a black bear died of the injuries suffered during the meeting. The victim, Vernon Patton, 72, worked on a tractor on the side of a road when he was attacked, witnesses said.

The black American bear, which is the smallest species of bear in the United States and the most common bear found in North America, is the only species of bear found in Arkansas, according to the Arkansas Game and Fish commission.

The Commission estimates that there are more than 5,000 bears in the state. The bear hunting season started in Newton County on September 17.

The black bear is the less aggressive bear species, according to the animal world foundation, and it attacks humans when it is surprised or in self -defense.

He said that the 750,000 black bear in North America kill an average of one person per year.
