Montreal shines internationally. The metropolis ranks eighth among the world’s most desirable cities in the rankings 2022 Travel Awards.
Annually, the Wanderlust website ranks the most attractive cities for travelers based on votes from Internet users. A classification is reserved for the cities of Europe, and another, for that of the rest of the world.
In this category, New Orleans wins. The city in Louisiana, USA, is followed by Tokyo, Japan, and Cartagena, Colombia.
Montreal is the only Canadian city to sneak into this ranking.
