Microsoft asks teams across the company to limit certain employee expenses as the software giant tries to control costs in the current economic environment.
Officials at the Redmond, Wash., company have briefed staff on various cuts to the company’s budget, people familiar with its plans said. Some expenses related to business travel, training outdoors and company meetings are targeted, the people said.
