Former Minnesota Congressman Michele Bachmann told Fox News on Tuesday that she hopes President Biden will follow through on his reported admission to Barack Obama that he plans to run for re-election in 2024 at age 82. .

Bachmann, a star of the Tea Party movement, said Biden would undoubtedly be in “negative territory” by then, given his continued decline in popularity.

“He totally means it — that’s what no one can believe. He totally means it,” she said of questions about the veracity of her confession to Obama.

“And I say, go ahead – he’s losing millions of votes a month. If you think he got 81 million in the 2020 election [and] regardless of his approval rating right now, he’s been steadily, slowly but surely losing millions and millions and millions a month. So by the time it arrives in 2024, it will be in negative territory.”

In that case, she noted, Republicans couldn’t ask for a bigger giveaway from Democrats: “I totally agree.”

Pete Hegseth, guest host of “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Tuesday, referred to the Democratic presidential bench of potential candidates, which according to current analysis includes Vice President Harris, USDOT Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Governor of North Carolina Roy Cooper, Pennsylvania Governor Thomas Wolf and former New Orleans Mayor Mitchell Landrieu.

“Have you seen a slimmer bench?” he asked Bachmann, noting that no one on such a list “excites” as much as the Tea Partiers did for the GOP a decade ago.

The host then played several clips of Biden, including a statement from 2019 at a Wilmington pool where he said he had “hairy legs that go blonde in the sun” as a young lifeguard, as well as a statement from a 2020 campaign debate on ‘making sure the kids turn on the record player at night.’

“No, there’s no one there,” Bachmann said of the Democratic Party’s future prospects. “But nobody in the Biden White House seems to be worried about the economy of the United States of America literally collapsing. Our presence on the world stage is literally collapsing. on this subject.”
