Summary of the previous episode: Matteo Ricci, Pantoja and Lin Yu are finally received in the Forbidden City. Before seeing the emperor, they must wind up a clock pawned weeks before. Ricci offers that Lin Yu, whom he trained, take on this task, much to everyone’s surprise.
