Mark Sanchez is recovered after a frightening encounter.
The Fox Sports broadcaster, who played as a quarter of the NFL from 2009 to 2018, is “in a stable state” after suffering injuries which made him hospitalize in Indianapolis on October 4.
“We are deeply grateful to the medical team for their exceptional care and support,” the network said in a press release on X (formerly Twitter) on October 4. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark, and we ask that everyone respects their private life and family during this period.”
Sanchez agent Andrew Kessler confirmed the state of his client, saying to CBS News: “That’s really all I know and that I can say.”
The 38 -year -old man was in the city to call Fox’s coverage of the October 5 match between the Indianapolis colts and the Raiders of Las Vegas.
Local authorities said they were investigating a “physical disturbance” involving “two adult men, which allowed a man to receive lacerations and other subordinate injuries in accordance with stab wounds,” said a statement from the Indianapolis metropolitan police service.
