Maren Morris calls Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany, over an alleged transphobic post.

The feud began earlier this week when Brittany took to Instagram and posted a video showing her before and after glamour. She captioned it: « I would really like to thank my parents for not switching my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girl life 🤎✌🏼.

Brittany’s comments section quickly filled with fans applauding the post. Lara Trump even posted two smiley faces with heart-eye emojis, while her husband Jason commented, “Lmao!! I’m glad they didn’t too, because you and I wouldn’t have worked. 😂.”

Country singer Cassadee Pope then took to her Instagram Story – as well as Twitter – and responded to Brittany’s post, saying, « You’d think celebrities with beauty marks would see the benefits of including LGBTQ+ people in their posts. . But instead, we hear someone compare their “tomboy phase” to someone wanting to transition. Really nice.

On Twitter, Morris responded to Pope’s tweet, saying, « Is it so easy, like, not to be a human bastard? Sell your clips and zip them up, Barbie Insurrection.

On Friday, Brittany took to her Instagram stories and doubled down on her position. Her response to Pope’s criticism led her to assert that « Advocating for child genital mutilation in the disguise of love and calling it ‘gender-affirming care’ is one of the worst evils ».

She added: « The other day [son] Memphis wanted to be a dinosaur, and tomorrow [daughter] Navy will want to be a cat. They are children.

« Some parents want so much to be accepted by society that they’re willing to make life-changing decisions for their children who aren’t old enough to fully understand the consequences of those actions, » Brittany continued. “…I am grateful to my parents for allowing me to go through my tomboy phase without changing gender. Until then, leave the kids alone!

It should be noted that, according to The Washington Postcurrent medical guidelines state that children should not undergo gender-affirming genital surgery until they are 18 years old.
