A man suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Saturday, according to Toronto paramedics.
Police said they were called just before noon to St. Clair Avenue and Yonge Street to a collision, where the victim was found and rushed to a trauma center.
Constable Caroline de Kloet said the driver has since been arrested after leaving the scene.
Paramedics told CityNews there was another victim who was not taken to hospital.
St. Clair eastbound from Yonge Street was closed for the investigation.
