Man riding electric scooter seriously injured after being hit by car in downtown Toronto
A man riding an electric scooter suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by the driver of a car in downtown Toronto.
Toronto police said the collision happened on University Avenue and Elm Street, just north of Dundas, at 6 p.m. Friday.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the man, who was riding the scooter, suffering from life-threatening injuries.
The victim was rushed to a trauma center.
Southbound University Avenue was closed to Gerrard Street for the investigation, but has since reopened.
