Man arrested after apparent road rage led to shooting in Scarborough
Toronto police arrested a man after an apparent road rage incident that led to a shooting in Scarborough and the suspect was pursued by officers on the 401 freeway.
Police said they found a man who was shot at Bellamy Road North and Ellesmere Road around 1 p.m. Wednesday, after a reported altercation between two drivers.
His injuries are not life threatening.
Police say the suspect fled the scene on Highway 401, with officers not far behind. The suspect vehicle was spotted on the freeway near Keele Street in North York.
Police say the suspect pulled over and fled on foot, crossing the eastbound lanes of the highway leading to Keele. Officers arrested him on Keele.
