Liegghio makes the difference with a field goal from 55 yards and Winnipeg wins 20-18

REGINA — A 55-yard field goal from Marc Liegghio gave the Winnipeg Blue Bombers a 20-18 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Sunday.
Liegghio had his longest career field goal with 2:49 remaining in the fourth quarter.
The Bombers took the lead for the first time in the game.
Winnipeg (11-1) is now guaranteed a playoff berth.
The club are unbeaten in seven away matches this season.
The Riders are 6-6.
Both clubs combined for just four points in the second half.
Midway through the final frame, Saskatchewan led 18-17 after a punter Kaare Vedvik single.
After Liegghio’s field goal, the Roughriders went deep in the offensive zone, but Jason Mallett had an interception on the Bombers’ 14-line.
The Riders got off to a great start, with Cody Fajardo’s one-yard sneak to complete a 67-yard push in 11 plays.
Game-winning quarterback Zach Collaros had 214 passing yards, including two touchdown passes. Fajardo totaled. 292 passing yards.
The same two clubs will face off Saturday night in Manitoba.
