Lévis: a pedestrian fatally caught

A man lost his life after being hit head-on by a heavy truck in the Saint-Nicolas sector, in Lévis, Thursday morning.

The incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Route des Rivières and Route Marie-Victorin.

Called by witnesses of the scene, the emergency services were however unable to carry out any resuscitation maneuver on the victim. His death could only be confirmed.
A perimeter was erected on site by the Service de police de la Ville de Lévis (SPVL), which has yet to meet witnesses and establish the circumstances of the tragedy. The age and identity of the pedestrian have still not been disclosed.
No hypothesis concerning the causes of the accident is prioritized for the moment, indicates the SPVL.
