LETTER: Parks Canada needs to improve bathroom cleaning

My wife and I visited Moraine Lake on September 21 and were appalled at the dirty state of the outhouses. We watched in embarrassment as the tourists opened the doors to the outhouses, then recoiled in disgust, refusing even to enter.

This is extremely damaging to the public image of Canada. Moreover, it presents a very real threat to public health. Until sanitary facilities are available, public access to Moraine Lake should be closed.
