LeBron James N ° 2’s great decision turns out to be an advertising campaign

Los Angeles – LeBron James had another “decision” to announce. It turns out that it was an ad.

The Los Angeles Lakers star teased that he would have something to say on Tuesday. The “decision” reference is a nod to the way he announced in July 2010 that he joined Miami Heat.

He was supposed to go out at noon he, but Hennessy – the Cognac brand, James, has been teamed up for some time – made the public announcement about 90 minutes in advance on the calendar. It was not immediately clear if James would have another announcement at noon, as planned for the first time.

“This fall, I’m going to take my talents to Hennessy VSOP,” James said in the clip. Even the wording he used in this announcement reflected the way he announced that he joined the heat 15 years ago.

Hennessy announced that he would publish a bottle of limited edition orange starring the name of James on the label and his “crowned” gesture – a nod to his nickname “King James”. “Where the first moment marked a central career movement, this second decision celebrates a creative meeting and a shared cultural heritage,” said Hennessy in the statement announcing the move.

James teased the campaign by displaying on X that he would make “the decision of all decisions”. The short video shows him to go to a chair, then sit in front of another man seated a few meters away – slightly recalling the configuration of his first “decision” when he was seated in front of the Jim Gray broadcaster for a television announcement of the news that he joined the heat.

Social media were unleashed with speculation after the Monday post, as you would expect. JAMES – The top scorer of all time in the NBA – is 41 years old in December and is not only the oldest current player in the NBA, but is also about to define a record by appearing during his 23rd League season. He is not under contract after this season, which has aroused obvious speculation according to which it could be thus announced a retirement plan.

Ticket prices for the latest regular Lakers season match in April soared on the secondary markets on Monday, with fans ready to spend a lot of money in case James decides this season.

There were also many assumptions on social networks – good, it turned out – that the last “decision” would be James who participated in an advertising campaign in a way.

“I like my decision,” said James at the end of the announcement.
