In a brief statement, the CHL said the new date for the event will be unveiled at a later date. No other information on this subject was released.

Held for the first time in 1996, the annual competition allows renowned athletes from the three main junior circuits of the country, namely the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, the Ontario League and the Western League, to show their skills in a match serving as an evaluation in preparation for the National League amateur draft, to which they must be eligible.

The last presentation of the game dates back to January 2020 in Hamilton.
