Kohl’s Ends talks about selling it to Franchise Group, owner of Vitamin Shoppe

Kohls called off talks on its $8 billion sale to franchise group against a backdrop of rising interest rates and an uncertain business environment.

The department store chain said on Friday it would no longer pursue a sales process and would instead focus on browsing on its own under current conditions.
